Vikings have been playing better the last two games giving the Seahawks the game last Sunday night with under a minute left. Falcons fired Dan Quinn. I know the Falcons did not fire their defense. Vikings roll through that turn-style Atlanta defense, build some confidence, and slowly get back into the picture.

DENVER BRONCOS AT NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Patriots have been dealing with the Covid virus as this game was rescheduled from a week ago. Broncos had time to recover from some injuries getting Drew Lock back behind center. Patriots have Cam Newton back. The key to all this is Head Coach Bill Belichick had two weeks to prepare for the Broncos with or without certain players that are sidelined by Covid.

CLEVELAND BROWNS AT PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Browns have a very hard time winning in steel town. Last year, this rival got intense and heated with a helmet being used as a weapon. Browns have been playing well. Steelers have been playing well. Steelers defense will stop the Browns running game which will force Baker Mayfield into mistakes in the passing game. The key to this game is the clock behind center. Big Ben was out last year and he is the X-FACTOR.

WASHINGTON NO NAME AT NEW YORK GIANTS

Washington has the revolving door right now at the quarterback position. All three QB’S Washington has, have been throwing into the game and done very poorly. Giants defense has played pretty well to this point and are the key to this game. FINALLY a New Jersey team wins a game!!!

HOUSTON TEXANS AT TENNESSEE TITANS

Both these teams have been struggling. Both teams won last week. Tennessee has won all their games. The first three games were not Titan like. Those were games fought to the end. Then Titans dealt with Covid. Then finally they played and gave Buffalo a butt kicking. Houston only beat the Jaguars. Right now, I’m convinced the Titans are playing like last season and the Texans are far from playing like they did in 2019.

CHICAGO BEARS AT CAROLINA PANTHERS

Bears… you never know what you’re going to get. Nick Foles is streaky. Foles is not red hot in his streakiness, like the Panthers are winning three in a row. Teddy Bridgewater who I thought the Bears should have signed in the off season when he became available, is the X-factor. Bridgewater beat the Bears last year when he played for the Saints. Teddy will repeat that effort and edge the Bears in a close one.

BALTIMORE RAVENS AT PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Eagles O-Line in shambles. Eagles play makers broken and not available. Ravens come in full strength. Ravens will fly higher than the Eagle in this week six match up.

I like Aaron Rodgers prevailing over Tampa’s Tom Brady in this contest. The key is the Packers defense’s ability to contain the Buccaneers offense. I think Aaron Rodgers can have a bigger game versus the Buccaneer defense.

Cowboys will beat up their own division. The Cowboy defense is a liability and any other team outside the division will exploit that.
