Our Irish Nostradamus was training all Labor day weekend long on his NFL predictions. The good lad never left his bar stool the entire weekend, except only to use the Loo. He stuffed his face with salty snacks. He drained pint after pint while licking them clean. He got his football juices flowing watching the first week of College Football. No hangovers!! He has seen the light through the bar’s stained-glass windows. All the NFL teams danced like sugar plums inside his mind. The numbers of each team’s record stacked up with the helmet image, and if he was possessed by the devil like in the movie the Exorcist, he spit out all the teams with their records with his eyes closed. Amazingly, he even predicted post-season play as well. Get your bets ready as we start with the regular season standings first.

Jackson got the contract & he will have a monster year. Bengals make a wild card spot. Steelers improve. Not buying the rapist in Cleveland.

I think Josh Allen reduces his turnovers this season. I really like the fact that head coach Sean McDermott will be handling the team’s defense for the Bills. Aaron Rodgers will have some good games for the Jets, but he will not save this team. They do get into the playoffs though. One and done for Rodgers. The Dolphins’ collapse will be due to Tua Tagovailoa being injured this year. He will miss most of the season because of the hits he took last year.

Not sold on really anyone in this division. I like the Texans improving. The Jaguars have the best head coach in the division in Doug Peterson. I also like the addition of Calvin Ridley. This division is the swamp hole of the entire AFC.

The Chiefs will do their regular thing and win the West. The Chargers will fail to make the playoffs with a clown as their head coach in Brandon Staley. The Raiders head coach, another clown, will be buried in the desert. Good riddance Josh McDaniels!!! Sean Payton will have the Broncos better than last year.

The Lions have the right coach and this team will be the king of the North this season. It will be a tough race as the division race will be tight all the way throughout regular season.

The Eagles were the losing team in the Superbowl and they will experience a hangover but recover. Cowboys will be better with Tony Pollard as the featured back. The Giants will regress with a tougher schedule and not being the hunter this year but instead being the hunted.

The New Orleans Saints have the best quarterback in the NFC South with Derek Carr and best defense, which is the best kind of Ragun Cajun recipe that will work for them this season. Every team except the Saints will have a rookie quarterback or inexperience behind the center position except for the Saints.

The 49ers will have one of the best defenses in the entire league. Seattle will regress. The NFC West turns into the NFC South from last year except for the 49ers.
